COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
In March 2024, the Holcim Ravena team relaunched the Community Action Committee (CAC) with new members and a new meeting place: The plant conference room.
The CAC is made up of a cross section of community members – from local business owners and chamber of commerce leaders to school district officials, residents, and more.
We are grateful that these individuals are willing to take time out of their busy schedules to meet with plant manager Dave MacLauchlin and key plant employees to learn more about our operations and provide valuable feedback and insight into how we can be a better neighbor.
History
In 2024, we launched a quarterly newsletter to help keep the broader community outside the CAC informed of what’s happening at the plant along with our latest giving efforts, and other news.
Copies of this newsletter will be mailed four times a year to residents and businesses in Ravena, Coeymans, and New Baltimore. Past editions of the newsletter can be found here:
